Blog post #5 Reading "El Caribe Gris"

Christopher Columbus            After reading "El Caribe Gris" , i found out that every paragraph has its own story and it was really hard to pinpoint the main idea but nevertheless i found my way around it . At first glance, i thought it was pretty lengthy and probably boring but after thorough reading , i discovered that Christopher Columbus first voyage is a good example of globalization of the Caribbeans or Latin America , but i believe that it was necessary in order to set globalization for the future of the Caribbeans , a type of indirect globalization if you will . The reason i believe this is because Columbus didn't affect these lands much when he first passed through them but instead he was a passive traveler that just observed the peoples of the islands and put them on the map ( in this case , his journal ) .  I had few problems finding this out but i think that was like the main point of the "El Caribe Gris"   S ources  1.  Stuart A. Self Assessment

Learning is a continuity , exclusively writing , because it tends to involve practice . The more i indulge in my practice , the better i write . In my opinion , no one was born to be a writer . As an ESL student , i took my first English course in college very seriously as it was a pathway to greater achievements in English Language . Whenever i am writing a paper , i tend to write whatever comes to mind and its always unorganized at first . Then i go back to rearranging my thoughts and ideas and then forget to add some fancy words . My writing ability isn't too high and i have this pattern of always keeping my sentences simple .           Now , let me discuss my areas of weakness . As an ESL student , i have some weaknesses that if not some then all students under this category also have such as grammar and composition since the grammar is far different from my native tongue but despite these struggles , i still try to improve in these areas in order to become a better

In Jamaica , the transportation system is very efficient as it connects throughout the entire country which aids their movement . About Me

Who am i ? Answering a question like this has often be proved difficult even for those with great intelligence quotient . I may not be fully aware of who i truly am , but i know i am not a vindictive person , i am not irresponsible , i am  not sluggish with my studies and i will never deliberately set out to hurt anyone .            My name is Fawaz Oseni . I grew up an only child . I was also an only grandchild on both sides . Accustomed to being around primarily adults , i was always mature for my age . Even my own peers often irritate me during my adolescent years . Most children acquire the same eye color or a similar shaped nose from their parents , but i have inherited much more : a passion for learning and an unsatisfied curiosity which has served me well throughout my academic career . Looking back at last year , my life was like a Citysearch , busy and vibrant . I was just another young soul eager  to meet life's challenges . I proudly reached certain go
